During the 9-week class held at Eagle River Elementary School, Mrs.Fuller, their math teacher, along with some of our guild members, who volunteered, helped 10 girls learn to sew. They began by learning the parts of the sewing machine and then sewing on paper. Soon they were making a nine-patch pillow, a tote bag, a pillow case with a French seam, a fleece scarf with a slip thru hole; and a bowl! They did great, below are some pics.
