At the Cranberry Country Quilters October meeting, Dottie Reeder presented a mini-workshop to Guild Members. Each member had the opportunity to practice this method by drawing on paper. This method helps to develop “muscle memory” for free motion quilting. (click the post to see photo)

The Cranberry Country Quilters Jan. 20, 2025 meeting will have a Members’ Quilt Related Garage Sale at the meeting. Members have the opportunity to buy and sell their quilt related items. The Cranberry Country Quilters meet every month on the third Monday. The meeting is in person and also available via Zoom for those who are unable to attend in person. Meetings have a business and program portion. If we are unable to meet in person due to weather or other circumstances, the meeting will still be available on Zoom.
The Cranberry Country Quilters will be having a “Sleep at Home” retreat at the Kalmar Center. They sew and have fun all day, then get to go home to sleep in their own comfy beds at night.
Cranberry Country Quilters will be available at the Library to help community members with simple sewing repairs. Community members sign up at the Library in advance, although walk-ins are welcome if there is an available time slot.
CCQ members are welcome to come help create quilts (kits to make quilts) to donate for charity to local organizations. We meet at the Kalmar Center in Eagle River, WI.
