Challenge #3 – Transparency Challenge
Transparency Challenge: Transparency quilts are designs in which the maker has carefully placed blocks of color within the quilt to give the illusion of the overlapping colors blending together to create new colors. (Similar to the effect seen in plaid fabrics.) Look this up online for further explanation.
Challenge #4 – Specific Fabric Challenge
Specific Fabric Challenge: Must use a specific piece of fabric supplied by the guild.
Challenge #5 – Sunday Morning Sun Challenge
Sunday Morning Challenge: Similar to one of the suns shown on the CBS Sunday morning news program or pick your own.
